Clear answers about identification, pricing, delivery, quality, revisions, and state controls.
Technical and product questions are answered here. Individual legal strategy, deadline confirmation, or representation is outside the service.
Starting and identification
Do I need to know what document I need?
No. Describe the result you want or upload the paper you received. The free step identifies the likely document, jurisdiction, official-form issue, missing information, and price.
Can I start without a file?
Yes. A clear description is enough for many letters and agreements. Court, agency, insurance, and deadline-sensitive matters are more reliable when the source papers are uploaded.
How many files can I add?
Up to eight supported files with a combined size of 35 MB. Related pages, exhibits, notices, and service papers should be kept together.
Scope, price, and delivery
When do I pay?
Only after the free result displays the recognized document, package, estimated pages, warnings, and exact one-time price.
What files do I receive?
A filing, delivery, or signature document in DOCX and PDF, plus separate preparation notes in DOCX and PDF marked NOT FOR FILING.
Does the platform file or serve the document?
No. Filing, e-filing, service of process, notarization, signatures, fees, and proof of acceptance remain the user's responsibility.
Quality and revisions
How is the document checked?
Every order receives deterministic checks for structure, issue coverage, requested relief, placeholders, repeated text, formatting, official forms, and separation of filing text from notes. More complex work also receives one AI quality review.
What if a material problem remains?
The order moves to quality hold and downloads stay blocked until the issue can be resolved safely from the existing record or reviewed.
What does one revision cover?
Corrections within the same document, parties, objective, transaction, and factual record. A new lawsuit, claim, recipient, agreement, or independent filing is a new scope.
State rules and limitations
Does one document work nationwide?
No. The same name can require a different form, deadline, venue, filing method, service rule, disclosure, or registration in another jurisdiction.
Why can paid preparation be blocked?
Some states or subject areas require certification, registration, an authorized provider, attorney review, or a special consumer disclosure. The platform enforces those controls before checkout.
Is this legal advice?
No. MyLegalDocs AI is document-preparation software. It does not create an attorney-client relationship or provide representation, attorney review, or a guaranteed legal conclusion.
